After completing her Masters in Business Administration from the Lahore University of Management Sciences, she secured a degree in law from the Punjab University earning a Gold Medal for topping the list of law graduates. She joined Ramdays and attends to legal as well as quasi-legal matters being handled by the Chambers including but not limited to all-encompassing advisory and other matters assigned to the Chambers by the Embassies of various European Union countries. In the year 2013, continuing this work while at Ramdays^, she also entered politics; was elected as a Member of the National Assembly and in the year 2015, she was elected as a Member of the Senate of Pakistan and continues as such. During this period, she was assigned the leadership of Polio Eradication in the country and for the extraordinary services rendered by her in the field, she was honoured by the President of Pakistan by awarding her the Sitar-e-Imtiaz. She continues as an active partner of the Chamber.
